Organized in 2001, the NOMMA Technical Affairs Division is comprised of our Technical Committee, Technical Consultant, and Staff Technical Liaison. NOMMA's Technical Affairs team works closely in three areas:

• Advocacy - The Technical Affairs Team works to ensure that the industry is fairly represented with various government and nongovernment regulatory bodies. These organizations include the International Code Council, Underwriters Laboratories, the American National Standards Institute, and American Society for Testing & Materials, and the ADA Accessibility Guidelines Committee.
  
   
• Technical Support - We offer unlimited technical support to our members in the areas of codes, standards, and government regulation. The Technical team also regularly disemminates information to the membership via the website, Tech E-List, TechNotes (our bimonthly technical bulletin), and the NOMMA/NEF Newswire, NOMMA's email newsletter.
  
   
• Technical Projects - The Technical team continually works on projects and new publications to provide valuable information to the membership and industry. Noteworthy projects include our online Code Comparison Guide (member's only), the NAAMM/NOMMA Metal Finishes Manual, and our Standard Trade Practices Manual.
